My client's Asphalt Paving company presents a rare opportunity for a proven sales professional to fully take control of their own destiny and to free themselves of the limitations imposed by many of their competitors. Say goodbye to that nagging sales manager, layers of bureaucracy, wasteful meetings, and the inability to call on certain accounts. 

This client is well established, and has a glowing reputation with Property Management firms and General Contractors. They are growing at a healthy pace organically but now want to accelerate growth by taking on the right sales professional. They are not to big, not too small, which if you have been in this industry you know what I mean. 

  • Base salary, with total earnings potential that exceeds industry average.
  • Full benefuts, auto allowance or vehicle provided, limited office time with ability to work remote.
  • Advancement potential to sales management. 
  • Client is self performing contractor with regional capability.



  1. Sustain, develop and enhance existing account relationships in your book of business and practice vigilance in following up on viable leads, suggest products, ensure appropriate contacts are made.
  2. Hunt for new accounts through cold calling and other methods to expand product use, upsell and cross sell products and services, increase selling value to ensure business growth.
  3. Stay on top of market intelligence and maintain an understanding of total market volumes, trends and key economic drivers
  4. Provide first-line technical input to accounts and other stakeholders within your territory
  5. Develop annual business plans including pricing, objectives, new products, technical support, distribution, optimization and receivables management
  6. Commit to great customer service in addressing and resolving inquiries, requests and complaints
  7. Provide and report monthly updated sales forecasts

To succeed you will need

Sales experience/asphalt & paving or construction industry experience preferred
Preferred field of study: Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Sales/Marketing or Business
Clean driving record
Excellent conceptual, technical and personal organization skills
Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office
